AUGMENTIN ES SUSPENSION is used to manage bacterial infections such as middle ear and sinus infections, respiratory tract infections, genital tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections such as dental infections, bone and joint infections, septic abortion (any abortion complicated by uterine infection), and abdominal infections. The symptoms of a bacterial infection may include fever, difficulty breathing, pus formation, and pain.
It contains a combination of medicines called, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It works by preventing the growth of bacteria and helps clear up the infection.
Do not take AUGMENTIN ES SUSPENSION if you have a history of hypersensitivity to beta-lactams, including penicillin and cephalosporins, or any other ingredients of this medicine. It is not recommended for use if you have a history of amoxicillin-clavulanate-associated jaundice or hepatic dysfunction.
Before taking AUGMENTIN ES SUSPENSION, inform your doctor if you are suffering from hepatic or renal impairment. This medicine should be used with caution in pregnant women and only when necessary.
In breastfeeding women, it should be used with caution. AUGMENTIN ES SUSPENSION should be used with caution in children (aged below 12 years) and elderly patients (above 50 years).
The common side effects associated with the use of AUGMENTIN ES SUSPENSION are diarrhea, thrush (a fungal infection in the vagina, skin folds, or mouth), nausea, and vomiting. Contact your doctor immediately if any of the symptoms worsen.
Add some more medicines to your dose depending on the symptoms you are experiencingAUGMENTIN ES SUSPENSION is not usually recommended for use in infants or children due to potential risks to the developing fetus. AUGMENTIN DUO 625MG TABLET is primarily used to manage bacterial infections, including middle ear and sinus infections, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, skin and soft tissue infections such as dental infections, bone and joint infections, septic abortion, abdominal infections, and abdominal aperate syndom. It is not indicated for use in women. Lower doses of AUGMENTIN DUO 625MG TABLET may help prevent complications of dental infections, bone and joint infections, and septic abortion. It may help in dental infections and in preventing osteomyelitis. It may also help in the management of sinus infections. In patients with a history of liver disease or severe kidney impairment, it may be helpful to take the dual anti-inflammatory medication azathioprine or medication for hypertension before and during doses of AUGMENTIN DUO 625MG TABLET.
Adults 18 years of age and under: Take 1 tablet (250 mg) three times a day. Check your doctor before taking AUGMENTIN DUO 625MG TABLET if you have : or have recently taken : metronidazole (250 mg, 500 mg, 600 mg, and 750 mg) since last 2 months of pregnancy. You can monitor your symptoms and condition while taking AUGMENTIN DUO 625MG TABLET. Consult your doctor if you are suffering from any bleeding or bruising disorder. Do not take more than one tablet in 24 hours. Do not take this medicine more often than 2-3 hours before or after taking AUGMENTIN DUO 625MG TABLET. Take AUGMENTIN DUO 625MG TABLET regularly at around the same time every day. Do not take this medicine more often than once every 24 hours. Do not use this medicine more frequently than 1-2aundice days. Do not use this medicine for longer than 10 days even if you have suffered dental problems. Do not give this medicine to a child younger than 3 years old unless instructed by your doctor.
